Frontiera/Frontière
Frontiera/Frontière
The French-Italian Border
2015 (Sketchs)
It's a series of drawings that Vivi has done in the summer 2015
She wrote:
„Frontiera/Frontière
Sono luoghi che ho conosciuto quand'ero
piccola grazie a Delia, mia nonna.
In questi ultimi anni ci sono passata
spesso in bici, d'estate......
Quasi tutti i giorni da Vallecrosia sono
andata a Mentone, a Cap Martin, a Monaco.
This is a story regarding the French-Italian border and therefore just in two languages.
Frontiera/Frontière it means Border and Vivi wrote:
"They're places that I knew when I was child, thanks Delia, my grandmother.

The series begins with a portrait made at beginning of 2015, after the
attack at the editorial staff Charlie Hebdo, and she wrote:
„Je
suis Charlie
At the beginning of 2015,
I was working on the end of a relationship and then happened the attack at
Charlie Hebdo„
….and it ends with a portrait made after the terrible events in Paris in November 2015:Je
"Je suis Paris"
